My apologies if this has already been posted. Somewhat in-depth piece comparing Caitlin Clark (25.7 ppg), Lexi Fleming (19.6 ppg), Paige, Hailey Van Lith (12.6), and others. It makes a case for Clark to be the leading candidate as "Freshman of the Year."

In any event, a good year for freshmen in the sport...even though UConn clearly has the all-round best of the bunch. (Note: from my biased perspective).

There seems to be one stat missing here, Paige has yet to lose a game. I think that's important.

Neither has Hailey Van Lith. And it is important.

If Bueckers and Van Lith were taking as many shots as Clark takes they'd be averaging 25+ points also. Clark has averaged 18.6 shots per game over 11 games. Bueckers 12.6 shots per game over 7 games. Van Lith 9.8 shots per game over 11 games.
