What do you mean "lose our first game"??Even if we lose our first round game we’d have a chance to play the loser of the first round matchup between Auburn and ISU in the losers bracket final so we’d still have an opportunity for a quality noncon win. And If we lose our second round game we’d prob play UNC in the 3rd place game.
Just saying we don’t need to go undefeated to have a successful Maui. Lots of opportunities for a big win. What do you mean "lose our first game"??

UConnIncluding the #2 team in the country, there are 5 top 15 teams playing in Maui next week. Cupcake season ends abruptly. Pretty glad we draw Memphis first. Pretty glad Maui is even able to host.
CorrectQuestion: I thought the winners and losers of 'our' bracket played each other in
round two? UConn/Memphis and Michigan State/Colorado. Day 3 would be when we play a cross-over
game with some team from the other bracket.
Is this correct? UConn/Memphis at 2:30 Monday [our time] on espn or espn2

Actually they’re in it every other year, in odd numbered years. But they weren't in it in 2021 because it was played in Las Vegas (because of Covid?) and not in 2023 either because it was in Honolulu (fire in Lahaina).Thankfully Chaminade no longer participates.....so everyone now guaranteed 3 Quality games

the Auburn/ISU path might be the toughest 3 game stretch anyone sees this season outside of the ncaa tourney: ISU/Auburn > UNC > UConn.Kind of disappointing that we'll only play one of UNC Auburn and ISU but at least we have the easiest path to a championship
LoL... my dad used to say that...just like that!!
Agreed. Michigan St definitely not top 15. No idea where OP got 5 top 15 from.UConn

Kind of ok with it coming off the tomato can quartet. This gives us a nice ascension qualitatively into a tough Championship game, into Texas, Baylor, Zags.Kind of disappointing that we'll only play one of UNC Auburn and ISU but at least we have the easiest path to a championship
Correct on 2:30 ET Monday for UConn v Memphis - so will be at work with phone trying to watch.Question: I thought the winners and losers of 'our' bracket played each other in

Flying there today direct. Hurley didn't want to stop over in CA like they've done on the way to previous Maui Invitationals.A 2:30pm EST game, is a 9:30am local time for them in Maui. That's a pretty funky start time to be playing early in am.
I assuming the team is flying today. Will they flight direct or stop over in CA ?
