No matter what happens Monday night, thank you. Thank you for believing in this university, this coach, this program, when almost nobody else did. This program is forever in their debt.

The second photo is from Stephen Slade, a great guy and even better twitter follow!

Amen. BTW, is that press conference photo from today? Trying to see if I can find it on the "NCAA presser" page.

Kinda sad, but no one would remotely want it any other way.

(only 40 minutes left of Senhor's magic too...)

For the seniors, particularly Shabazz and Niels..They've represented this University as well as anyone could have in their four years here. I agree with Ollie, they saved the program. They stayed loyal. They were thrusted into a new conference. They took punishments they hadn't earned. They played hard for a new coach, when it's likely the only reason why they attended Uconn in the first place was because of the old one.

We don't win a National Title in 2011 without them. Kemba was the star, Lamb second in command..but those guys were necessary role guys. And we don't return to National Prominence without them.

There have been a lot of guys who I've loved that have come through this program. There are even guys whose playing style I prefer over them. And I love this entire team and appreciate everything this whole team has done. But these two players in particular...I hope fans truly appreciate the gift of their play, leadership, loyalty, and class. And I can't think of a better reward than a National Championship.

All three four-year seniors deserve to have their numbers and names immortalized as Huskies of Honor no later than Tuesday evening.

This group has surpassed both the 1990 and 1999 groups as my favorite UConn team ever. They are warriors, and they deserve a special place in UConn lore.

Amen ZLS.

Great thread!
