Terrible job by the BC HC. Call a TO and settle the team down. Slow down the tempo when you’re up double digits in the 4th qtr. What does BC do? They play hurried and start forcing everything.

And she should have gone ballistic at the time when that travel was called on the BC girl when she was clearly tripped.
 
FINAL: NC State overcomes a 16-point deficit in the 4th quarter to notch a 75-69 win. NC State now 6-0, 1-0 ACC. BC falls to 4-2, 0-2 ACC.
 
wow.... I'll try to remember this crazy 4th quarter officiating should I feel the urge to complain on behalf of the huskies later in the season. BC did fall apart, but the unraveling string was being pulled by the officials for sure.
 
The big change in this game was when NC State started playing stifling defense midway through the 4th quarter. From that point on, in BC's last 13 possessions, the Eagles turned it over 6 times, and only made two of its final 14 FG. State, meanwhile, was 8 of 17 in the 4th quarter.
 
I have no dog in this race but I felt like the home team got the shaft by the refs. There were some questionable calls in the fourth qtr.
 
Did the announcers ever get the reason why the State charge call was reviewed and changed to Dickens' 5th foul, which happened in the 4th?

Coach Moore said it was because the BC player had her foot inside the restricted area...so it was a blocking foul, not an offensive charge.

Could be but according to Pam and LaChina that call can only be reviewed with under 2 minutes left. They said it happened before then. I am thinking maybe a different ref called the blocking foul, so it could be reviewed????
Don't really matter, they got the call right.
 
I forgot to mention this earlier in the thread...but today's victory over BC was #950 for the NC State WBB program since its inception in 1974.
