BU had closed it to 3 in the 4th but then let it get away. Viani was critical of the zone defense all game but Lehigh only went 7-23 (30%) from 3. BU's main problem was offense.

In the 3rd Quarter, after Lehigh missed it's first 2 3 point attempts, it wen 4 of 6 (I think 4 in a row) and it was clear they figured out the zone that BU was in. They ran the shot clock down on every possession and Marisa did not adjust to this. Viani was absolutely correct to assert this. The BU offense was, in fact, putrid. The right team won the game, unfortunately. Marisa has done a great job at BU and they should continue to get better but any narrative that starts with Marisa being in the running for taking over for Geno/CD, needs to cease and desist until she wins multiple Patriot League titles and a few NCAAT.
