UConn announced that former Cleveland Browns head coach Sam Rutigliano, the 1980 NFL Coach of the Year, and Dave Adolph, an NFL defensive coordinator for 14 seasons, join former Huskies Dave Lalima and Stan Rajczewski as honorary coaches for the UConn spring football game on Apr. 20.

Rutigliano and Adolph were on Forzano's coaching staff in the mid60s, with Andy Baylock. Lou Holtz was also on the same coaching staff at UConn. (Forzano moved to the NFL as a head coach as well)

As good as that staff was, and the things the went on to accomplish, they are also responsible for one other thing. Recruiting George Deleone to come play football at UCONN. :)

Still have fond memories of Holtz looking like a teen running around FB practice yelling and screaming. He wasn't much older than a teen in those days.!!!!!!!
