Making the board a little less insufferable

I understand you can't D up Cuse with 4 guards, but late in the game when we needed a 3, we still couldnt get guys open at the top of the key.
Why not play 4 guards in that situation? Neils played well today, not sure why he was excluded during crunch time. With Lamb, Bazz, Boat, and Neils on the perimeter, all 3 guys are 3 point threats. Neils/lamb also could have been checking to the foul line.
I know you sacrifice rebounding and defense in that situation... but when trailing, why not give it a shot? Our offense which looked great early on simply couldn't do in the 2nd half.
