Maine - 7:00pm
Virginia - 1:30pm
Cinci- 11:30am
Temple- 7:00pm

Virginia & Cinci times are a curveball

These are the actual times. Not sure what Serrano means.

Nice Jimmy....I appreciate the verbatim Chief quote ;)

Does anyone know why the Cincy game is 11:30?

Other than a plot for Cincy to continue UConn domination...any idea why it's 11:30?

Just a thought but maybe so they can squeeze an extra televised game on the ESPN family of channels later in the day??

ESPN2 has a few weekends tbey have an 11:30 game. I imagine for a non-CFB game at 3.

I really don't get the 1:30 start time for Virginia - I can't find a network with a 1:30 window.

Cincy game is on CBSSN and the Virginia game is on SNY...

Surprised by both of those: Don't remember seeing CBSSN ever use an 11:30 start time. Would have thought the Virginia game would have found a home on an ESPN net rather than syndication.

Yeah...that's what caught me as odd. I don't mind early road starts...because the crowd is kind of sleepy and it negates home field advantage a bit, but early home starts are not optimal.

Anybody have any idea when the TBA times will be announced for the schedule? Very interested in the Syr game in particular...

It'd be great if we knock off Navy and UVA and play Cuse in prime time. The stadium may empty because of too many brawls in the parking lots if that's the case though.

13 days prior unless they get held for a 6 day window - which is pretty unlikely for the Syracuse game.

This just released media guide shows the 11/26 Tulane game being played at 7:00 on ESPN2.

Man I hate night games in November, suns goes down and it gets cold. Although the Temple game should be a must watch. Tulane not so much. Love the sun in November.

The online link to the media guide still has it as TBA. The Tulane time is hopefully just a mistake - that would be a bizarre time (and Network) for that game and they don't need to publish it in August.

Since it shows same time and network as Temple - I'd bet that it's a mistake.

Maybe the school just put 11:30 to get people moving towards the gates a little early so we have people in the stadium to start the game.

I guess maybe if it comes down to needing a win for a title game slot a night game vs Tulane in late Nov would be good. Bit if snow and all but mostly it would be bad scheduling.

Welp the 11:30 am start time for Cinci could lead to the earliest storming of the field in PAWSARF history.

From January to August we dream of seeing the next game and now I see complaints about opponents in November because it might be cold and the team we are playing is weak?

Give me CCSU at midnight on Feb 28th. Yeesh...

It really is stupid for people to want to enjoy going to a game.

It's stupid for whining about things out of one's control. I'm just grateful to be able to watch football again. It is what it is.

By the way it's one thing to be 3 days away from a game and say "Oh man it's gonna be 35 and rainy for the game, that's gonna suck" but to be 3 months away and not even knowing what the weather will be, I mean c'mon.

I'd prefer a noon game. Need as much rest as possible going into a very short game week vs Houston. 12 pm vs 8 pm start could be the difference between getting an extra light practice in or not.

Id prefer an 8pm start solely because of the atmosphere fans could provide if we start the season off knocking off Navy and UVA
