It’s as much a commentary on the offense than the defense. Not Pindell’s most accurate day for sure and we had some pretty awful O-Line play. Tough conditions?

The droppedTD pass by Beals hurt bad. Not good enough this year for that. Pindell thtows a nice deep ball. It's the one area he's clearly better than Bryant. His screen game needs work though.

Hopefully we build on that.

I know there is still some antipathy for Edsall because he left in the first place. But he must wonder what he can do to deal with the utter dismantling of the decent program he worked so hard to build. Two terrible AD's and their respective terrible coaching hires later, we are in a frightful mess. These are dark days and we have to rely on Edsall again to bring us back with a successful curtain call. Here's to you, RE - just go out on a positive note this year and built for next!

From my view it was not a drop. BC defender hit his are as the ball arrived.
It is still an example of players not making plays when they have the chance. Way too many self-inflicted wounds all season long.

That dropped pass was the turning point. Who knows what might have happened had we gone up 10-0 there and maybe started getting into their heads a little.

The BC defense made adjustments. 8 yards in Q2 for Uconn. Would it have made any more a difference in the second quarter? Or the third? I don’t think the play calling would have changed at all for Uconn. At some point you need to credit BC for making the adjustment and stopping Uconn cold.
