I remember losing to Duke in 9o(?) and being as despondent and bitter as you seem to be, because at that point I didn't know if UConn would ever sniff a final 4 again. He is somewhat correct, UConn fans do get pissed off easily. A elite eight appearance would piss UConn fans off. UConn fans have experienced and expect more. Cuse fans are happy to have won a sweet 16 game, it was their first in awhile. It's rare for Cuse fans to see their team go further than the sweet 16.

The Cuse board last year around April 4 - April 5, 2011 was pretty salty. A lot of "cheaters" and "dirty program"s were being thrown around.

Part of the reason UConn fans are more chippy than other fanbases is because they don't get the respect that other top programs get. If they maintain a similar level of success after Calhoun leaves you'll see us all take stuff a little less personally. My three favorite sport teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees, and Huskies bball. I always get more offended when somebody rips UConn than I do the other two. If somebody says "A-Rod sucks" or "Andy Reid's a fat ass" I wouldn't really care, but if somebody rips Calhoun I'd be ready to fight.

Hopefully, you are old enough to be at least marginally in touch with the history of the Big East; and the rivalries that have developed to the point of being unlike and superior to most other rivalries anywhere else in the country. Now factor in three (football) money grubbing college presidents and their lap dog Athletic Directors; at least two(Syracuse and Pitt) of whom thought so little of the league that put their athletic programs on the map that they felt no prior communications with the league was even necessary before they completed their nefarious deals with the ACC. Do you really think that fans of UConn or any other Big East school(especially those fans who live and die hoops and could give a rats about football or those fans whose schools either don't have football or don't have so-called elite level football) are not going to be "perpetually pissed off" when the subject of Syracuse or Pitt comes up.

I for one hope you spend the next 20 years trying to keep your sorry a$$es off the bottom of the league standings in your new "home". And, while we've had some very classy Cuse fans visit here over the years as mentioned in other posts, your school(using Boston College University,Miami and Virginia Tech as examples) are going to rue the day that your collective administrations so quickly and deceitfully put money before loyalty, history and Madison Square Garden in March. I am one UConn fan who is not going to miss you at all; and sure as hell is not going to wish you well. I am glad you didn't get your hands on the BE trophy; and very,very happy that Thad Motta's crew bounced your sorry butts out of The Dance. If there is on other thing that will royally piss me off it would be our Athletic Department scheduling any out of conference games in any sport with either you,Pitt or West Virginia.

We seemed pissed to you? I think we are a pretty happy bunch. We still are one year out from one of the most magical seasons in NCAA history.

While we have had our share of problems in the past - Quse has made us look like Mother Teressa over the past year. What a total CF of an off season they are going to have- I am grateful and joyful I am not a Quse fan.
