I like the 35 second clock. It helps to add interest to the college game. It makes the slow ball strategy possible, which allows lesser talented teams a chance to compete. 30 second clock forces the action so that everyone has to play the same game. Some of the charm of soccer is that teams don't have to kick on goal every 30 seconds.
And the 35 second clock reflects this in bball. Part of the fun of the NCAA tourney is that teams play differently. It is also the next step to a 24 second clock. We already have the NBA if we need a 24 second clock fix.

Every team should play a light press to slow the offensive team down and then zone if the shot clock ever shrinks.
