Once again like in most of all of our losses we were doomed by a prolonged drought to start/end a game or half.
Gaffney banked in a 3 to give us our final lead of the game at 19-18 with 7:54 left in the half. Didn’t score again until a Polley 3 with about 3 minutes left and didn’t score after that.
I have to imagine Dan Hurley is a strong supporter of not moving to quarters in MBB because he’d be asked at halftime of every game “Dan, how do you explain scoring 6 points in the second quarter like your team was the 4th grade rotation in a 4th and 5th grade basketball league?
oh and a player shooting 1-10 on nearly entirely layups.
