After today's game, the Huskies are shooting a nice .408 from the arc. They trail only Oregon State, UAB, and Duke as a team.

For individual players, our best are:

Kia .505, 1st in the nation
Crystal .476, 4th in the nation
Lou .463, 8th in the nation
Meg .429
Molly .400

Nice job, ladies!!

FT shooting is at .748 and generally has been trending up, though below last year's pace and the nation's best .800 in 2015-16.

They trail only Oregon State...

Beavers are hitting a blistering .425 as a team, making about 9 per game, but only have 1 individual officially in the top 50. They have 3 other players hitting 41% or better, including one hitting 50%, but none of them have enough makes to be listed among the national statistical leaders.

Can the mods edit the subject? This is not at all what I typed ("3-point shooting"), though it may have been changed by the nefarious autofill.
Let me guess you typed W B B correct.

I think I typed exactly "3-point shooting," but I may have posted on WNBA 3-point shooting last summer, so autofill took over when I wasn't looking.

Well, Lou, Crystal, and Kia will be in the WNBA eventually, so maybe I was being prescient. ;)

True...but DUKE is ahead of us as a team probably bc Z left and we ended up with her 14% clip.

I couldn't care of she had a 1% clip behind the arc...the rest of her skills are just rediculous and she just does about everything else (offensively) on the floor.

Maybe next season she can get it up in the 30s

How fun would it be if she just took over the NCAAs ala Stewie Style!

She has all the pieces...

The most important 3-pt shot the Huskies made yesterday was Z’s smooth, nothing but net shot from the corner.

On Thursday if the Huskies can pull Wilson out of the paint on D, it’s game over.

I suspect that Dawn will tell Wilson not to come out to guard Z until she makes 1 or 2. Hopefully, that occurs early in the game. That will open up the lane for the Huskies on offense.
