I just saw the list of the top-16 in the paper this morning. With 1 game left in the regular season, here are the top shooters from the arc. There are some familiar names and a few surprises. 1. Chelsea Gray .482 2. Stef Dolson .443 3. Allie Quigley .439 4. Shekinna Stricklen .409 5. Maya Moore .408 6. Jasmine Thomas .406 7. Sue Bird .393 8. Diana Taurasi .392 9. Elena Della Donne .386 10. Mo Currie .385 11. Jordan Hooper .380 12. Jewell Loyd .376 13. Courtney Vandersloot .373 14. Breanna Stewart .372 15. Tiffany Hayes .368 16. Kelsey Plum .363 A few thoughts: 6 of the top 16 are Huskies. Chelsea shoots from far out with Tiffany-like arc, but has become very accurate. She had never been above .350. Stef has become a long-range bomber. She's at .403 for her career. Even though her stats are down a little, Maya is very efficient from the arc. She's over .400 for the 3rd time and 2nd year in a row. Jasmine has become a solid shooter. She was not above .300 for the prior 4 years. Sue and Dee are paired together--as usual. Sue has been above .400 in 5 seasons and is at .385 for her illustrious career. Dee's career mark is .369, and she holds the record for the most made. EDD is no surprise. She's right on her career average of .382. Jewell and Sloot have improved their shooting from distance. This is Jewel's first season over .310. This is Sloot's second best season. Stewie and Tiff are solid, even though this is not the best part of their games. Stewie has improved by .034 from her rookie season, and Tiff is almost .050 over her career average. After a slow start, Plum has shown what she can do. She made 343 in college and shot .382.
