Almost 4 again if Oregon won. Muffet saved the day.
2017 2/2
2016 4 men

Anyone know ratio of male/female Div 1 coaches?

Bad for us, potentially, depending on who refs our game. I don't think the resentment is as bad as it was 10 or 20 years ago, but it is still there.

Assuming you want ratio to total, 39% are male.

There are 349 Division I schools.
17 of the schools currently have a vacancy leaving 332 schools with a position.

One minor complication is that Brooke Stoehr & Scott Stoehr are co-head coaches of Louisiana Tech, so the number of Division I coaches at the moment is 333.

There are 129 males and 204 females.

So you have 39% male coaches making up Div 1 and in the last 3 years 75% of the coaches in the Final Four are men

Male coaches are simply better... (for all the female posters on the board, that was a JOKE!)... :p

You'd better hope Dawn, Mulkey and Holly don't read the BY. They will hunt you down and hurt you.

Those all are 3 horrible coaches (good recruiters) but they WIN!!! All lack emotional control w exception Dawn vs UConn. Resigned to let them play and don’t miss the bus.
I like Muffet and Tara. More cerebral.
I like the Utah, Buffs and Arizona Cats coaches too. Limited talent but they strategize and team works

ESPNw wrote a piece about this either last year or 2 years ago and coaches said that 70% of the coaching applications they got were from men, and yet the numbers still look like this...
