I found this coverage by chance on u-verse 1095. Didn't realize until studying the logo that it was in 3-D and not my brain on meltdown and seeing double. Guess special glasses are needed. Showed things not on the other channels.

Depending what device you are watching on determines weather you need passive or powered(batteries) glasses. I have 3d on my LG and use passive glasses but most other brands require powered glasses. Got on line and research or go to best buy with your device, They will have the glasses you need in stock. Be warned if you are passing signal over hdmi you need to upgrade to version 1.4 3d compatible cables.
version 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3a, and 1.3b do not have enough bandwidth, Or speed for 3d signal. Must be in the gigahertz range not 780 mbs. Good luck!

Also if you are passing signal through an A/V receiver amplifier for sound it also has to be 3d compatible for both signal and sound. Wikipedia is a great resource for info on hdmi and 3d requirements.
