Hey, gotta pay off those new jumbotrons!$3? That's a 50% increase from $2 beer night last year. Geeze, that's a bigger increase than the tickets. But at least it includes more than just Miller Lite.
Hope so. There was talk about HuskyHops or TwoConn doing that.Extra dollar for NIL?
Was there last year for $2 beer night and the beers didn’t even last until tip-off. We got in a half hour early and they were all sold out. This sucks compared to $2 millers all night.
From 5:30 to tip-off isn’t a “night”, it’s a happy hour. Are they trying to have people pound a bunch of IPAs for 90 minutes? Just give everyone a $3 beer ticket at the door.
FYI, they have Fuzzy Baby Ducks on draft at the XL. Has there been a cheap beer night at the XL before? This must be sop to the XL fans for the cruddy schedule.I’ll gladly pay $3 for a Sea Hag or Counterweight versus $2 for a watered-down, tasteless Miller Lite.
Now we’re cooking with gas
I was in line last year ready to grab two of the 12 oz. $2 beers, and they sold out. All of a sudden, some guy came barreling through the crowd with a skid of 16 oz. Miller Lites that they were obviously charging for."While supplies last"
"Please drink responsibly"
What insanity is this?
Hey hey hey supply is a separate issue lol I was there too when they sold out. I’m just speaking conceptuallyWas there last year for $2 beer night and the beers didn’t even last until tip-off. We got in a half hour early and they were all sold out.
Makes you wonder. Maybe they didn’t want to do it at Gampel again because of how many more students are there? My thought is, if you’re trying to get people to come in for the crummy games, then don’t do this for the one good game, X on BE opening night. Do it to make people like me feel better about attending a late Wednesday night game against DePaul in January (and by the way I’ll be commuting from Boston)FYI, they have Fuzzy Baby Ducks on draft at the XL. Nice. I was wondering if they had anything decent on tap. I always grab a can of counterweight or sip because the lines are shorter.FYI, they have Fuzzy Baby Ducks on draft at the XL. Has there been a cheap beer night at the XL before? This must be sop to the XL fans for the cruddy schedule.
The Fanatics bar is the best one at XL in terms of value for quality. All the drafts are 24 oz and are 15 bucks. There are multiple ipas and other beer styles available. Beats 15 bucks for a Bud lite or Miller lite can.Nice. I was wondering if they had anything decent on tap. I always grab a can of counterweight or sip because the lines are shorter.
Last season, on occasional Fridays, the Wolfpack had $2 beer/$2 hotdog nights at XL. Better yet, the promotion lasted until the puck dropped to begin the SECOND period. All beers were eligible. I think it's back again this year.FYI, they have Fuzzy Baby Ducks on draft at the XL. Has there been a cheap beer night at the XL before? This must be sop to the XL fans for the cruddy schedule.
Family night with the kids.... daddy getting soused and mommy driving home to the 'burbs.Last season, on occasional Fridays, the Wolfpack had $2 beer/$2 hotdog nights at XL. 15$ for any beer is beyond outrageous. The Fanatics bar is the best one at XL in terms of value for quality. All the drafts are 24 oz and are 15 bucks. There are multiple ipas and other beer styles available. Beats 15 bucks for a Bud lite or Miller lite can.
It's every Friday game but it's not the good stuff.Last season, on occasional Fridays, the Wolfpack had $2 beer/$2 hotdog nights at XL. Better yet, the promotion lasted until the puck dropped to begin the SECOND period. All beers were eligible. I think it's back again this year.
