Wow I didn't realize it was such a huge discrepancy. Some of the offensive fouls were questionable at best.

There were a few calls I did not get. The offensive foul when, I think it was Adams or maybe Smith drained the 3 was kinda bogus. Zona threw one pass away and the anouncers stated as such but then zona inbounded...huh? The tie up should have reset the shot clock but instead uconn had to heave a 3 with 1 second left on the shot clock and had a violation...huh? In a 4 point loss, yah, the refs can be critized for some dubious calls.

I don’t think it was the difference in the game
but thats kinda lopsided. I think Jalen has two- three fouls that were bad calls.

I didn’t see any big issues with officiating. Couple things here and there, Carlton’s moving screen, obvious shot clock reset failure. Not a lot else...

I did see our guards playing lazy defense and letting a lot of penetration happen until 5 minutes were left and they finally started playing solid D. We couldn’t turn them over, couldn’t really get the fast break going, Gilbert’s shot looked terrible and he kept jacking threes up from 30 feet. Lots to blame the loss on, not worried about the refs on this one.

The offensive foul calls were bad, but we could also stand to be smarter in terms of knowing where the line is between good ball pressure and a foul.

Jeter should have fouled out in the 1st half with the arm slapping - all day. He also walked 80% of the time changing pivot feet - in 2ndhalf a UConn fan shouted and asked Miller if he taught Jeter how to walk like that - Miller just raised his hands and laughed!!!!
But refs didn't cost UConn this game - UConn lost this game

Our offense was either three's or our small guards trying to go 1 on 3. You are not going to draw many fouls that way. Our lack of any competent big play is going to make us live or die with outside shooting.
