I voted Arizona, perhaps being more hopeful, but I think they have a shot. If McDonald hits those tough shots it'll be a good game IMO. Stanford will be the heavy favorite though.

I voted Arizona because, well, I sort of have to. It will surely be a more competitive game than previous Arizona / Stanford matchups, I think, regardless of who wins.

Any inkling whether Tara is contemplating retirement any time soon?

Curious if a title would be a capstone or if she'd want to keep going.

I think it's hard not to pull for Arizona, but Stanford handled them easily it seems in their meetings.

This will be over after the Q1. Stanford has an amazing frontline and their guards can create and defend. Expect to see mcdonalds shoot bricks sunday night. Standford by over 20

I doubt it's coming anytime soon with 3 more years of Brink and Betts coming in 2022. She has a real shot to win multiple titles in the next couple of years.

Yeah, she hasn’t slacked off in recruiting like she’s planning to hang up her sneakers.

The signs are that she wants to keep going for a long time. When last year's tournament was cancelled and she suddenly had nothing to do for a few weeks, she said "If this is what retirement is like, I don't want it!" Plus she loves the current players and has some great talent coming in.

I am rooting for Arizona. Love the way they are playing. They got that "Us against the World mentality " going for them. Plus I really can't stand Stanford.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Stanford will win by double digits?

I'm expecting that as well. Hoping it's close and exciting but expecting a comfortable win for Stanford.

I don't know. I'm rooting for AZ of course, but recognize the tough climb.

A year ago, I was sitting on the sideline of McKale Center watching Arizona sneak a win over Stanford, and since my seat is next to the broadcasters, I even got to here Tara at half time, standing about 8 feet in front of me being interviewed. Very respectful.

I also got to see Stanford lay a hurting on Arizona on TV this season. So . . .

I tend to think either a close / OT game (win by Arizona if in regulation) or a solid double digit win by Stanford. Not so much in-between.

Thought the same against UCONN but was dead wrong. While Stanford I think is the superior team, Arizona has been hot lately and Adia has that team believing they can accomplish anything. Its also difficult to beat a team 3 times in a season.

Thats why we play the game. Hopefully its an exciting one tonight.

Historically this type of underdog matchup does not have a pretty ending. Arizona has been playing out of their minds. In the last game they needed that to happen as well as UCONN playing their worst game of the year. IMO the AZ defense can not take ALL the credit for that. Does everyone really think that will happen twice in a row and Stanford will play their worst game of the year. I just can't see it happening. (If it does it will have only the comparison of Nova over the Ewing led G'Town men from many years ago)

I voted Stanford, but I hope AZ pulls it out with a last minute buzzer beater. Not much can top that men’s game last night.
