Will UConn be selling tickets on their own like they did with this years Syracuse game?

Thanks. Normally would be very interested in getting tix way in advance....

We just don't know what this team will look like in November. I am going to wait this time.

speculating on front row seats through the pre-sale. it's worked in the past but not loving the Oregon - Iowa inclusion.

They can't confirm if the game is going to be UConn / Cuse?

I'm going to take the wait and see approach. Normally i'd be all over this but wasnt much fun to watch Uconn down 20 points for most of the game against Cuse at MSG this year.

Does anyone happen to know the ticketmaster pre-sale password or where it could be found?

If you buy tickets to this before they even announce the matchups.... can you please stop. The only way sanity returns is if people stop rewarding stupidity with cash.

I can promise you from the bottom of my heart. You will be challenged to get tickets to these games.

Aren't there also 4 mid majors in this tournament as well? How does the pairings work, anyone know? Do we just play the high majors?

The mid/low majors don’t play at MSG. They play at UConn, Cuse, Oregon, Iowa and don’t affect the tournament.

Here's the press release.

It looks like UConn plays one of Eastern Washington, UMKC, Green Bay, or Morehead State at home. In these, our loss-scarred days, it should be reassuring to know that that first game has no impact on the "tournament" itself. UConn plays the high majors in NY regardless, while the four other teams play their own 2k Classic in Cheney, Washington.

Someone should organize a tournament at mohegan sun. Have 2 or 3 local teams that are good, say Uconn, Providence, URI. Maybe a couple of local mid majors like Vermont and some big names from around the country. They would draw a lot of people. Fans from elsewhere would have added incentive to come and lose money at the casino. Or is Mohegan sun not big enough? Just an idea that popped in my head while reading this thread.

A UConn, Providence, URI, and UMass tournament at Mohegan sun would be very fun

I love the idea but are teams going to want to play a tournament vs. UConn in CT?

I don't know, maybe not. I remember when schools would have four team tournaments over the christmas holidays back in the 50's and 60's, played on someones home court.

If you divide the tickets evenly why not? Each school should be able to easily sell their allotment.
I'm just saying. If UConn has a good team it will be 90% UConn fans no matter how tickets are divided. Teams would probably want to play on a more neutral site. This is just my opinion. I know there was an article written about playing providence at Mohegan a week or so ago.
