Somewhere along the line, someone decided that the only way you could enjoy a sporting event anymore was to be bombarded with constant reminders about what's [I]at stake[/I]. It's like we forget sometimes that a game is a game and has no bearing on the real world regardless of whether it's artificially considered to be part of a "playoff" or not. The word has lost all meaning and merely exists now as a marketing ploy. I still don't consider OSU the real champ last year because I watched them lose two times in what [I]used[/I] to be the actual playoff - the season.
