Then Connecticut had fairly stringent testing rules for travel to and from the state which made it hard for teams to come here that were later relaxed but made it tough to schedule. If it hadn’t been Year 1 as an independent we might have figured something out. But it was impossible to figure out a plan. U Mass played I think 3 games, all on the road and all scheduled on the fly. At least one was as a replacement for a team that was infected and couldn’t play.
