I can’t believe any one is asking this. They will be permanent until there is enough more money to be made.Does anyone know if our 25/26 seats will be more or less permanent (hate to say forever) or will we be reseating every year like the old days
I hope it's not reseating every year
When the program is successful we pay more to move backwards; when the program is floundering we pay less to move forward.Does anyone know if our 25/26 seats will be more or less permanent (hate to say forever) or will we be reseating every year like the old days

Has no one learned this lesson over the last decade?

To answer your question without the sarcasm, here is the statement from UConn Athletics website:Does anyone know if our 25/26 seats will be more or less permanent (hate to say forever) or will we be reseating every year like the old days

If you currently have season tickets, you should have ability to purchase season tickets next year. If you do not have season tickets, you cannot get season tickets until all current season ticket holders have selected their seats. If you currently have tickets, you can only order the same number (or less) of tickets you had this year. So, theoretically, no current season ticket holder should get shut out. My understanding is that capacity at XL will be more than this year and Gampel will only be losing a handful of seats (less than 200).Is there a priority point total that assures us of retaining our seats and what is it?
Thats going to vary on a case by case basis. Is there a priority point total that assures us of retaining our seats and what is it?
You are basically correct. the only caveat is that at GP, the number of lower bowl seats is decreasing so some lower bowl ticket holders will be bumped up to the upper bowl unless a certain number of season ticket holders give up their seats next year. I guess that is possible seeing that Gampel fans are so "casual" according to some other posters.Thats going to vary on a case by case basis.
Given no new season ticket holders are being included in this seat selection, we can assume baseline you are competing with those that are in the same or similar pricing tiers as whatever seats you have today. Probably not many who will go up much or down.
So you aren’t competing with every single season ticket holder just those in your similar cohort if that makes sense.
That same cohort is the same in that you all donated the same money last year for your seats. From there everyone has known about this so fair to assume a lot have given more money to improve priority. How much? Well only the AD knows, but fair to assume the better the seats the more is being given.
