Sure, DB wants to fill the stands again, but what he really needs are some deep pocketed boosters. While winning is critical to generating overall fan interest, a charismatic coach enthusiastically selling his vision to a broad spectrum of fans with the means to help the program wouldn’t hurt. Whether or not it’s reminiscent of those rubber necker’s ogling a car crash, lots of media eyes seem to be on us. Hire the right guy who intrigues the media and we just might have the making of what they are always looking for—a great story—the Huskies football program rising from the ashes. I’m starting to think we have a legitimate shot at redemption. Feeling optimistic again. Take your shots.
