I'll be surprised if Juju stays around that long. But between the two I'd probably pick Juju due to her size and physicality as a guard. If Juju isn't there, Strong looks like the no-brainer #1 pick in a very good class.

We're going to be spoiled the next few years as 2026 looks strong (Betts/Flaujae/Latson), 2027 is unbelievably stacked (likely Watkins/Booker/Hidalgo/Fulwiley/Mikaylah Williams) and 2028 looks excellent as well with Strong/Edwards/Blake/Smith/Cambridge.

Has anyone heard if the 2025 class is anywhere as strong as 2024/2023?

Ah I guess you're right. I was thinking she'd have to wait a year. This poll is meaningless. We'll never get to know :(

Your guess about what happens is as good as anyone’s. I personally love these hypotheticals and discussions, especially as the season ends tomorrow and we’ll have a long 7 month off season ahead.

Why would she redshirt?
Lots of players with ACL injuries are back in ~9 months. Once shes healthy enough to play, I expect her to play, even if it’s March 1.

Sarah Strong is already a much better basketball player. Juju gets a lot of her points by jumping into the defender and getting free throws and really isn't a great defender. Sure she has a size advantage of many of the players trying to guard her but her game is not nearly as developed as Sarah and it never will be.

In the end though injuries play a role in these things but picking a good UConn player is always a better pick than a good player from any other team.

Respectfully disagree, but realize homers will home in home forums. ;)

She can, but does it make sense for a few games? Also depends on where USC is at by this point of the season. Would it be worth it?

She was a finalist for National Defensive Player of the Year. Not sure how she isn't a good defender if she earned that recognition.

Toby has hands. She really needs to improve on that and she made a huge mistake not going to a school where they would teach her how to play basketball.

I don't know who will go #1 in the 2028 draft but this post is #1 in UConn bias for 2025. Here's your trophy.

With only one game left in this WCBB season, I can see we're already anticipating a long, slow off-season with jump-the-gun topics and truly extraneous meandering threads. One more reminder to enjoy tomorrow...
You forgot the music threads! I very much look forward to that part of the off season.
