One of the down sides of increased money in the W as well as even larger outside sources of revenue, is that few of the new players get exposure to international rules, international players, and international refs. That will get even worse with the new alternative league. And it is a reason to retain at least a few veterans that have that experience. the age specific teams are a long time in the past for these guys, and that level of competition is seldom up to the US squads who dominate.

I agree there needs to be a roster turnover, but would not be surprised to see a few mentioned above retained if they are healthy - especially among the guards - Stewie, Aja, and Nepheesa would be a nice core in the forward/center group with experience, but a few guard/wings would also help with new players to the team.
