And with a whole new team, a spring game is almost a requirement to see what you have. There may be only 5K in the stands (if that) but that is the core. The base that needs to be re-energized.

The school should "incentivize" getting butts in the seats. I'm not sure what that looks like, but maybe discounts on season ticket packages, free food (I would say free beers, but that creates a liability issue), invite every high school team to attend and otherwise do whatever you can to make it a semi decent turnout. I wasn't thrilled about Mora leaving, particularly the way he left, but his departure creates a rebranding opportunity. The school would be smart to jump on that to create buzz for the program and the Candle era.
