He was a 4 star, but was "downgraded" to a 3 star during his junior season despite putting up a terrific statistical campaign. My guess is that the recruiting sites slighted him for committing to Toledo. Great get.

This was alluded to a few days ago on another pro-UConn site, that Coach Candle would be bringing new coordinators. We'll know for sure once we see a post from Sammis. He gave us a great offense the last 2 years, and I hope he has a role with us, but if he does leave, I'll sincerely wish him well (as long as he doesn't go to CSU or any of our opponents).

BCU alumnus. Before Toledo, Weiner was a 16-year high school coach in Tampa and coached multiple state championship teams.
