How we do in this year 3 will IMO set the tone for that following summer's discussions. 7-5 with 2 or 3 P4 victories gets us a serious consideration, maybe enough to strike the (financially sensible) deal finally. 5-7 with 1 or 2 P4 victories gets us a verrryyyyyy outside shot - a deal we strike might be difficult to swallow financially for the near-term (forfeit revenue, no BE exit fee help, no CBS buyout, etc), but possibly our only way in at that point. any worse and on we go in the indy desert. let's get there :) I'm ready for a power conference patch on our jersey!
