"Lauren Betts is a generational player;“ how many years is a generation in women’s college basketball? We just had Paige last year , now it is a new generation already?
Correct, the most overused and meaningless term in sports today."Lauren Betts is a generational player;“ how many years is a generation in women’s college basketball? We just had Paige last year , now it is a new generation already?
“The generational player of this year is . . . “Correct, the most overused and meaningless term in sports today.
I agree about JuJu, especially with the new W CBA where the minimum salary will significantly rise to $300k. The sooner she gets to the W, the sooner she can get a Max contract (which grows to $2 million by the end of the deal)Hidalgo and Booker will both still have a chance to be a 4 time All-American, whether it’s first or second team, and that’s nothing to take lightly.
I too think that Juju will leave after next year.
Interestingly enough both Herhoopsstats had Lauren with 5.6 Win Shares and Bart Torvik 6.9 while her team mate Kiki Rice was worth more to the UCLA team than Betts with 6.4 Win Shares and A Torvik value of 8.2. So the “generational” player wasn’t even the best on her own team…"Lauren Betts is a generational player;“ how many years is a generation in women’s college basketball? Not to mention we've just had Ionescu, Plum, and Clark in the last few seasons."Lauren Betts is a generational player;“ how many years is a generation in women’s college basketball? We just had Paige last year , now it is a new generation already?
