This is our first High School true RB commitment since Max Modeste. Of players still at UConn, the most recent was DeVontae Houston in early 2020

(Rosa was a multiple-position player in High School)

.-.
Interestingly, he had committed to WKU just a couple days earlier.

HONEST QUESTION (not sarcastic) -- so, what does a commitment mean? does it mean nothing from an actual you-are-now-beholden standpoint? idk how recruiting work, so just trying to understanding. i guess signing day is when you actually are forced to go to the school?

using "forced" loosely, but how/when does the NCAA actually hold kids accountable to their choice, is my question.

When you sign. Until then, school and player are only bound by their respective views of morality, but as far as the NCAA is concerned there is no such thing as a commitment prior to the first signing day.

This might help to answer your question and not spin this thread completely off track: About the NLI

Where do we rank now among teams with the most Swedish players?

You are correct. I misread the date. My bad & sorry for the hullabaloo.

Most people on this board won't know what I'm talking about but your post reminds me of the musical variety shows Hullabaloo and Shindig back in the 60s.

Welcome to the pack Oliver!
This guy sees daylight and finds it. A little shimmy and shake along with you thought you had me moves. Reminds me a little bit of a #44 a that was a Orange decades ago. ;)
