The 247 ranking is their own algorithm to rank the prospect, the composite ranking is the average of what the media rankings are of the particular athlete. 247 rates them high, but all the rest of the people who do this do not. It is literally a mathematical equation based on publicly available information and not some arbitrary thing. 247 itself is actually bucking the trend and rating the prospect above high compared to what the general consensus is.
