Exactly this. It's a long time before he can sign papers where he's actually committed to us (and even then ...). The less folks write about him, the better. The less notoriety this kid gets the better.
Didn't we used to have a guy who could throw a football through a hoop from the nosebleeds?
Why?Exactly this. It's a long time before he can sign papers where he's actually committed to us
Because you can’t sign papers until late fall. Until then, no one has a binding offer and no one can accept on a binding basis. Why?
Obviously you never heard of Andrew Bynum. Why?
To say the least!!!!!!!!!!!He's had an interesting post-UCONN career.
Don't worry, ESPN already downgraded him to a 3 Star after he committed to us.The less notoriety this kid gets the better.
ESPN always seems to come thru for us!Don't worry, ESPN already downgraded him to a 3 Star after he committed to us.
Welliver is #11We need to keep looking for one of his high school games on tv. ESPN famiiy of networks usually will have HS games from Florida, Texas or California.
Let’s not go there lol. I get the worry but this is great press for UConn we need it. We need to break public perception, and show recruits you can play here and do something legendary rather then be a small fish in a big pond. Hopefully we can get Welliver on campus early.Every time this thread reappears I'm thinking decommit.

And their kids are gonna be like “you don’t have holograms of your highlight reel??!”Just laughing, remembering our grainy 8MM "game film", (if we had one at all...)Today's H.S. productions are just so well done. Wonderful memories for these guys to look at in 50 years...
"Wait, you had to look at stuff on a screen? And there was no VR?"And their kids are gonna be like “you don’t have holograms of your highlight reel??!”
Kid could go to 25 P5 programs and get the same promise. I respect him for looking for a program that fits what he wants.Probably gonna be the type of kid we have to promise the starting role to if he’s gonna stay committed.
