Call it what you want but it was probably similiar to what Embid had done. Meaning the damaged meniscus was more than likely removed in both procedures. After having four meniscus surgeries I know that the recovery when they try and repair the meniscus is months as opposed to when the remove the damaged piece. So I could be wrong but don’t think I am. It also depends the size of the damaged area more meniscus removed is tough because it can initially impact how the knee feels under stress. That impacts recovery but the whole point being Castle was just starting to get healthy at the end of the year and that is the version with a better shot that will be playing in the nba next year.
