01/20/25 Baylor vs UCLA (Newark, NJ)
Interestingly the Jan 20 Baylor vs UCLA game hasn’t yet been announced as part of UCLA’s non-conference schedule. A couple of months ago Cori Close did an interview at a B1G meeting in Palos Verdes in Southern California. She mentioned the Bruins playing in a neutral site game related to MLK Day which will get observed Mon Jan 20, 2025. I wondered what happened with that game when the UCLA WBB non-conference schedule got announced. I hope it happens. It’s listed on Baylor WBB’s schedule.

BTW Jan 20 is also presidential Inauguration Day.

2/6 UCONN at Tennessee.

11/4 Louisville will play UCLA in Paris, France.

12/5 Stanford at LSU

12/20 Stanford vs Ohio State at Chase Center, San Francisco (technically neutral site)

12/20 Creighton vs UCLA (n) also at Chase Center

I don't think UCLA's non-conference slate is announced yet

There should be a few top caliber non- conference games coming out of the tournament in the Bahamas

11/27 Duke plays the winner of the DePaul/Oklahoma 11/25 game, but it will likely be Oklahoma (neutral site game)

12/20 Ohio St vs. Stanford (neutral site game)

UCLA WBB announced the non-conference schedule on X a couple of weeks ago:

UCLA WBB Non-Conference Schedule

Baylor game MLK Day not on the slate at the time it was posted. I assume since Baylor just announced it the game is a go. At least I hope so. UCLA plays at Rutgers Jan 23, 2025 so the Jan 20 game aligns travel wise.

It's official now. Guessing they were waiting for the tournament to make an announcement.

Thanks for this thread. Last year started so big. Colorado vs LSU upset. Nd vs sc - freshmen showcase. Usc vs Ohio State - juju coming out party. NC State v UConn. Saniyah Rivers v Paige. All in the first week. I don't see any of those type of games yet in the first week.

I'm probably strangely high on oregon so I like Baylor @ Oregon on Nov 10. I think it will say a lot about both teams. I also like Florida State vs Illinois game on Nov 7th. Also think that may be a good barometer for each team.

USF has put together some competitive games for their non-conference schedule.
