Fair enough. Most of us would put him first team, but it's preseason and we'll what it is like at end of the season.

BE tied with SEC with the most players with four players on the three teams.

McNeeley on their Freshman All-America Team.

Liam McNeeley | UConn | F | 6-7

Four starting spots are up for grabs for the defending National Champions, but McNeeley, a five-star Montverde Academy product, has the inside track to step into Dan Hurley's headache-to-guard scheme. McNeeley's off-movement shooting will be essential, but he owns a sky-high IQ and his keen feel should only be magnified in Storrs. Hurley will cover up his flaws and magnify his strengths.

Alex 2nd team preseason is perfect. Gives him room to stamp his own legacy on our program and elevate to 1st team.

Preseason rankings and lists are just a way for reporters and content creators to put their beliefs into the public view, and come mid-season or post season, they redo so not to have a "remember when you had this player at 2nd team?" moment.

flagg is good but the way duke uses him as the primary offense option leaves them pretty beatable. key is to shut down the 3 point shooters and make them beat you with self created jumpers. their 3 point shooters are pretty slow and can be shut down.

I don't disagree overall and think that is how it likely ends up but their team should be good enough to win it all. It will come down to coaching and PG for them. I have zero confidence in either being good enough though. Scheyer isn't some horrid coach but he hasn't shown to be particularly good either.

Give Hurley/Young/Murray that Duke roster and I would bet them to win it all. Scheyer recruited a talented team with size, but not sure he knows what to do with it.
