I believe this is our first offer for 2023 class. ESPN #8, #2 PG. Not yet rated on 247. 6’4 NJ kid.

Current offers:
Auburn
Georgia Tech
Miami
St. Johns
UCLA
Xavier
UConn

Is the Wilcher kid from Roselle that is going to Xavier as a 2020 recruit his older brother? I think that kid is the best shooter I saw anywhere last year. I expect to cringe whenever he touches the ball against us. 50/50 its going in the hole from anyplace across half court. Xavier has already offered this Wilcher too. I assume they may have the inside track if they like playing together.

Yes, they are brothers.

Kid is nice, good thing Xaiver can't land kids like his brother.

Hopefully the older brother has plans on going pro before his senior year so playing together isn't an option

I disagree here. Usually when brothers are paired together in elite D1 programs, they are:
  • Twins (Morris, Harrison, Lopez)
  • Coaches kids (McCaffery)
  • Elite duos (Mobley, Plumlee)
  • An underwhelming player is signed to attract the elite player (The Christophers of ASU, the Tubelises' of Arizona, Griffins of Stanford).
The Wilchers do not fit either of these criteria.

Doesn’t that cover like 90% of scenarios?

Crazy athlete with crazy potential, his shot is UGLY though lol
Strange how he and his brother have such different forms. CJ's release is quick and smooth, his brother seems to hesitate before letting it go. Love Simeon's game though, more explosive and bigger than CJ.
