2023 Recruiting: Papa Kante

He'd be here for '23-24 (unless he reclassifies). He can co-exist with Clingan (or surpass him) because it seems like he'd be more of a 4 than a 5 (especially with Clingan on the floor). Sanogo could be gone after next year. There could also be a possible roster "conflict" with Johnson.
 
I don't know what his ranking even is, but the kids interest/offers speak for themselves. Sign me up.
 
Papa sat behind the bench as an invitee for one of the home games UConn lost earlier this year. After the game, Hurley and staff never followed up or met with him, he was standing there for quite some time before leaving. Note: Papa plays on same team as Taylor and Griffiths and they are all very good friends. Maybe not a coincidence that Michigan and Iowa are two schools high on Griffiths, as well. In fact, I think Papa may have attended that UConn game with some of the Griffiths family. Hopefully the staff has made up for any potential slights that may have occurred from that first visit.
 
Pretty sure I mentioned this in other threads but I want him just for the name.
