Six home games, neutral against UMass and away at BCU. That's 8 games that are real easy to get to for New Englanders.

If things are going well, a road trip to JMU in November over Veteran's Day weekend could be a fun trip too.

Heck, even Ga State is an easy flight down to ATL.

JMU is nowhere near Norfolk. I’d be surprised if it’s less than 4 hours drive. It’s only 2 hours from DC however, and you can get Amtrak cheap if you book far enough ahead of time.

I'd love to speculate on how next season will play out and I love the fact that two non-home games will be drivable without an overnight, and one more with one. But you're not getting me to talk about it until 3:30 on Saturday the 12th. (Two hours later if I'm driving home from West Point!)

It’s 3 hours. Maybe less. When I lived in Williamsburg I used to go to Harrisonburg often. Really good fly fishing around there.

And remembering the one year where some bozos scheduled us for two home games SUBSEQUENT TO THANKSGIVING. That's when I learned that just because your hands are so cold you can't immediately realize that touching a hot grill can still cause you pain, ....
