Already looking ahead...the men's ring makes it a bit easier.

Is the following info correct...as it stands now?

Academic seniors:

Paige...3 years of athletic eligibility left.....covid frosh year doesn't count....injury year.
Nika...2 years of athletic eligibility left...covid frosh year.
Aaliyah...2 years of athletic eligibility left....covid frosh year
Aubrey...2 years athletic eligibility left...that right?

Academic juniors:

Amari... 2 years athletic eligibility left
Azzi...2 years athletic eligibility left
Caroline..2 years athletic eligibility left

Academic sophs

Ines Bettencourt...3 years athletic eligibility left
Ayanna ....3 years athletic eligibility left
Isuneh [Ice]...4 years athletic eligibility left...injury

Academic frosh

All the same

KK/Ashlynn/Qadence/Jana...4 years of athletic eligibility left.
[Jana with an academic headstart on her frosh year]

14 scholarships. Is 15 the max?
Might Geno be interested in a one year portal addition? Or a portal
addition for more than one year?

Looks right to me. As for the last two questions, I’d say no to both, but there is significant difference of opinion in the BY in this.

If Nika Aaliyah Aubrey exercise their right to a 5th year the cap will be tight in 24-25. I suspect all three of them will go pro, though Nika is maybe a question mark. This argues against a 2-year portal addition.

I think Geno is happy with the roster he has.

Griffin has been her 4 years. She should graduate this year (academic). But she should have a Covid year and an redshirt injury year (which she would have to petition for) left. Probably just 1 more year from her basketball wise. Academically, she can work on her graduate requirements.

I doubt Geno is looking for 15 players. 14 will keep him plenty busy (if they can stay healthy). But, I suppose if someone pops up on the Transfer Portal and he thinks they could help the team, he might go for it. 15 is a bit number though.

I think you always have to put the paper work in and request it. Might be a formality, but I still think you have to do it. Not sure if you have to do it for Covid year though?? Anyway she should have 2 years, but I doubt she'll use more than 1.
