This kid is the definition of super COVid senior. Check it out - already been in college ball for six seasons!!!:
Only the "*" years counted towards eligibility however. When done he will have been a part of eight seasons! A mini NFL career.

1) 2016 Redshirt at Michigan State
2) 2017 Plays all 13 games at Michigan State*
3) 2018 Plays all 13 games at Michigan State*
4) 2019 Limited to 4 games at Michigan State due to injury <--Medical Redshirt
5) 2020 Plays in 9 games at Texas Tech with 33 tackles <--COVid year 2020 doesn't count!
6) 2021 Plays in 10 games with 5 starts at Texas Tech with 19 tackles*
7) 2022 now part of the UConn campaign*

I think this also means we should expect to see more 3-4 line ups this year on D.

Especially when you consider Kevon Jones has been taking more snaps at the LB position this spring as well.

This player looks very fast on film. His biggest problem is staying on the field because of injuries.

This shows just how committed Mora is to winning this year. Most first year coaches would pass on a guy with one year of eligibility. Mora has said he wants to win immediately, and he is backing it up with actions like this.

( I am trying to resist saying this...but I can't...Edsall would never do something like this... especially in his first year....he would talk about his 6 year plan and developing his players)

Looks he had great pursuit to the ball, high energy. Need a trend setter in year 1 of the Mora era.

We have a tough schedule so nice to improve depth and talent at LB. Plenty of reps for everyone. This staff gets it.
