I thought it was just kids from New-England, guess I was mistaken. Overall rankings for guards has Haynes at 3rd and Ofori-Nyadu at 10thThis All-New England team is a joke. Christian Haynes has the 3rd highest PFF grade of all guards in FBS and Noel Ofari-Nyadu is rated 14th at guard and yet neither are All-New England?
This group is very biased. Liam Coen from UMass was the player of the year in 2008 over Donald Brown who rushed for over 2000 yards. Crazy.
In what world does Holy Cross get 6 and UConn get 2? 2021?This All-New England team is a joke. Christian Haynes has the 3rd highest PFF grade of all guards in FBS and Noel Ofari-Nyadu is rated 14th at guard and yet neither are All-New England?

Well, it is kind of tricky picking an All New England team when you have teams playing at such vastly different levels. There are only 3 FBS teams so you end up combining them with the FCS ones and really it is hard to come up with any “fair” rating. How many of the 6 Holy Cross selections could start for us or BC? Maybe a couple but not the majority to be sure. So you really end up picking players based on how well they do within their own division. Then you add the fact that there has always been a bit of a Boston-centric bias too which adds to the problem. This All-New England team is a joke. No UConn player or coach has ever won any of the individual rewards in the history of this thing. This All-New England team is a joke. Christian Haynes has the 3rd highest PFF grade of all guards in FBS and Noel Ofari-Nyadu is rated 14th at guard and yet neither are All-New England?
