Yes, and it’s even rarer when one is from a little old small town like Turbeville! I know that entire town is proud of Talaysia!!
I think these 2 homegrown players will give us a bump in attendance next year. Of course, Ashlyn is from Columbia, but Turbeville is just on the other side of Sumter - not far at all. If we can add Milaysia and Joyce, too, that would be awesome.

Very few of these players stayed in state, and not many more stayed in their home region. Does it seem unusual to see this much movement? Looks like everybody is recruiting nationally these days.

If I had gotten a full athletic scholarship, I'd have moved far from home, also. I think this has been a trend for a while.
