2021 Will Henderson

Google turns up nothing besides an April 2019 article from this same site.

Kid is in the middle of a massive growth spurt. 5 inches in the last year

Watch him end up a 5*. Our staff is fantastic talent evaluators

Little highlight. One tweet says he's projected to be 7'1. 7'2 wingspan. Averaged 15/11/4 3 block 3 steals on the season. Tons of short highlights on his twitter if you scroll through.

Not too wow'ed by his shot or handles. Shooting looks bad. Not sure I'd say he's a guard, but there perimeter IQ seems to be there in the few highlights. There's some toughness about him under the rim though. Pretty good change of pace for his size/age. We'll see if he continues to improve and we offer.

IIRC, Charlie Villanueva also had a crazy growth spurt in high school. Thats why he had decent range for a big man in that era.

6’10” who used to be a guard. What’s not to like
That reminds me of Dr J who was a lightly regarded 6’2” guard his senior year in HS than grew 5-6 inches to forever change basketball.

Vin Baker was 6’5’ I believe his senior year at Old Saybrook, got to UHart at 6’11’!

He won’t be a guard in college.

Get this kid now while he's under the radar.
From what little I've seen he needs work with explosion, shooting and getting to the rim. All can be tightened up with a good summer.

He's long with skill in the end and has hella (i'm in the Bay) potential, please no Deng responses. This summer is big for him. He has 4 star potential by end of summer. He's w/ Boo, so undoubtedly he has a place where he can work in isolation or with a trainer. Ceiling is Chris Smith UCLA, floor - 8-9 man on a low to mid-major.

Edit:
