The player’s prior team has exclusive negotiating rights."[/I] Prior to the WNBA free-agency period, I thought this re-signing was a no brainer: Allen -- if nothing else as a pro -- is a steady field general who has improved her three-point shooting and overall scoring during the last two years, leading the Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL in Australia. But Las Vegas then signed free agent point guard Danielle Robinson and I wondered if Lindsay was busted with the Aces. However, Trader Bill didn't waste much time after LA returned from Australia after the Boomers lost in the semi-finals (to Kia Nurse's team). Maybe, it's the ND connection or a steady appreciation for what she brings to the court, but Laimbeer has been nothing but steady in keeping LA on rosters in both NY and LV. So, the Aces now have pure PG's Robinson and Allen at point guard, along with Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young, who shared the point last year. So are all the ingredients going to be mixed into the stew?
