I think since I posted a couple days ago, the percentages of outstanding offers from the south  has moved from 60% to around 65% of total outstanding offers. So the trend that Chief gave everyone a heads up on is continuing. This is a new strategy.
What’s interesting about our conference is there is currently over 100,000 students enrolled at our two FL schools (UCF, USF). So while they might not be the National names some here are accustomed to from a bygone era - the kids we are recruiting from FL are very familiar with these schools and likely have friends who attend them. So playing them is a plus.
Houston and ECU are two other huge enrollment schools that have name recognition among the kids we recruit from the Texas and the southeast. On the other hand Tulsa and Tulane are not big enrollment schools. Quite frankly, SMU is a high end connected school - in the Dallas business community you are employed graduating from SMU.
