2020 Hoophall Classic schedule announced

The Fla IMG Academy vs Florida Monteverde at 7:30 PM will feature some top kids...

I don't know of many games between two teams that will feature so many good 2019 recruits...

Five Star:

Precious Achiuwa, Josh Green, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl

Four Star:

Armando Barcot, Pavel Zacharov, Omar Payne, Lester Quinones, Harlond Beverly, Balsa Koprivika, Terrance Shannon, Jesse Edwards.

Sooo...let me update to correct with 2020 recruit rosters...still, a damn impressive HS match up.

Monteverde had a team that would have won a p5 conference last year. Their starting lineup went 6’5/6’6/6’9/6’10/7’1, they were all ranked in the top 50 in their classes, they had the 4th ranked freshman in the country riding the bench. It was unreal.

Yet they lost to IMG in the Geico final...IMG and Montevede in Florida are just not high school teams.

On the boy’s side, all 14 out of the 20 ESPN 100 ranked seniors will compete over Martin Luther King Jr weekend. That includes the #1 ranked-Evan Mobley (Rancho Christian), Cade Cunningham (Montverde), Jalen Green (Prolific Prep), Jalen Johnson (IMG Academy), Ziaire Williams (Sierra Canyon), Brandon Boston Jr. (Sierra Canyon), Scottie Barnes (Montverde Academy) and Kentucky-bound Terrence Clarke (Brewster Academy). The top-ranked recruit for the class of 2020, Jonathan Kuminga (Patrick School), will compete on Saturday and Sunday.

Some NBA-last names will also be making an appearance. LeBron James’ son, LeBron James Jr (Sierra Canyon), and Dwayne Wade’s son, Zaire Wade (Sierra Canyon), will compete on Saturday and Sunday. The younger brother of Buck’s big man Giannis Antetokounmpo, Alex Antetokounmpo (Dominican High School), will play on Saturday.
