2020 Army - Navy Game (December 12th @ USMA)

Anyone that's ever gone to an Army-Navy game will remember the videos as being one of the best parts. From the uniform videos to the official school videos and, especially, the support videos from the cadets and midshipmen, every time out is as entertaining as the game on the field. I'm also kind of happy to see the game on campus at Army but the circumstances and limitations are unfortunate.

Michie Stadium is a great venue for football.

For several years we took our Cub Pack and Boy Scout troop to West Point for Scout Day. Always got there in time to see the Cadets on Parade. What a magnificent sight.

Every football fan should put on their bucket list a trip to West Point to watch and Army home football game.

The level of football may not be the highest at Wet Point but the pageantry and setting are memorable.

Catching UConn at Army maybe a decade ago at West Point was definitely an experience. How are games at Navy in Annapolis?

Will be going up to West Point to see UConn take on the Cadets next season (as long as fans are allowed) : )

Navy gets to flyover Michie Stadium in their new air show toy.

Go Navy! Beat Army!

My first college football game was Air Force at Army in 1979. The trees were turning yellow, red, etc. The campus was spectacular. A “nice atmosphere” doesn’t begin to describe it.

With that heavy fog layer covering the field, those soaked raincoats, pea coats and covers, and stuffing them all back in to busses for a 6 hour ride home??

There's going to be a ton of upper respiratory issues next few weeks.

Get them Z packs ready.

Stick a fork in the Midshipmen.
Coach Ken definitely doesn't have the horses in the backfield or the strength up front he used to have.

No powder in the cannons. Navy had four shots from the two and didn’t convert. Game was over after that

My dad, USMA '45, was at the game in 1943, the last Army-Navy game played at West Point. I remember him telling me that, due to war-time travel restrictions, the brigade of midshipmen was not allowed to attend the game at Michie Stadium on the West Point campus. As a result, half of the Corps of Cadets had to sit on the Navy side and cheer for Middies.

Michie Stadium is dedicated to the memory of Dennis Michie (1870–1898), who was instrumental in starting the football program while a cadet at the Academy. A member of the Class of 1892, Michie organized, managed, and coached the first football team at West Point in 1890. Six years after graduation, he was killed in Cuba during the Spanish–American War.
