Every football fan should put on their bucket list a trip to West Point to watch and Army home football game.
The level of football may not be the highest at Wet Point but the pageantry and setting are memorable.
Not as scenic. Stadium is off campus. But their campus is stunning along the water and worth the trip. Annapolis is a great little town tooCatching UConn at Army maybe a decade ago at West Point was definitely an experience. How are games at Navy in Annapolis?
My first college football game was Air Force at Army in 1979. The trees were turning yellow, red, etc. The campus was spectacular. A “nice atmosphere” doesn’t begin to describe it.Every football fan should put on their bucket list a trip to West Point to watch and Army home football game.

My dad, USMA '45, was at the game in 1943, the last Army-Navy game played at West Point. I remember him telling me that, due to war-time travel restrictions, the brigade of midshipmen was not allowed to attend the game at Michie Stadium on the West Point campus. As a result, half of the Corps of Cadets had to sit on the Navy side and cheer for Middies.
