Cameron Ross, a receiving for the nationally ranked St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., announced on his Twitter account on Saturday that he has committed to UConn.
With UConn set to lose receivers Tyraiq Beals, Kyle Buss and Hergy Mayala as well as receiver turned tight end Aaron McLean, securing commitments from receivers is a priority. Ross, who also is a sprinter on the St. John’s track team, averaged 25.1 yards per catch as a junior for a team that finished the 2017 ranked 17th in the USA Today Super 25 national high school poll.<<

I like when RE and crew signs a guy after they have seen him at their camp - lets me know they have a good feel for the kid and his abilities. Things looking up - I like it!
This is a nice get by the staff! He plays a position of need, is from an area of the country we want to recruit from more, from a program that's been successful nationally and the kids a track team sprinter too! Sign me up! Welcome aboard Cameron!
